Gonna do some more carb work tomorrow and I bought a new float bowl gasket. The old one seemed OK last time I had it out but I thought it best to have a spare on hand. Anyhoo, I was just wondering if I do use a new gasket does it require any prepping, or just put it on dry.

However.....the float bowl gaskets seem to hold up just fine without anything being applied.
