Mini Speedo Issues...

Hey everybody! So I bought a mini speedo and extended cable from a member on here a while ago and now it's having some issues...
1. The light on it went out (no biggie, I can live without it)
2. The needle bounces when I go over 50, and last weekend it just started going crazy saying I was going 140 mph (and bouncing out of control)...which is not possible lol Wink

My question is: Is the speedo itself the problem, or the speedo cable?

I don't mind the speedo not working when riding with a group, but when flying solo I kind of need to know my speed Grin

All I have left to do...is a lot...

Actually , , remove it from the engine and spin it by hand. If you feel it spin, grab, spin, then it's binding and torquing up, then unleashing on the gauge. You can try a variable speed drill and feel of the housing, and listen,,
