Got up at my normal time if 3am.
Pee, jump into hot tub to ease my bones, it helps....
Some light rain, but not much.
Timer goes off, I get out, scoot back inside and brew my coffee.
Go to computer, check weather, news, etc.
Ok, calling for light rain throughout the day, isolated snow of no consequence....
Cool, I'll ride for Friday can be a bugger coming back in my truck on the ferry.
Shower, suit up.

Out the door.what the heck, snow on the ground, bout 1/2 inch, dang.
I ain't going back in.
I saddle up.

Made it with no problem, just was careful.

If that snow is on the ground, when she leaves, she sees my truck, I am in deep dido

I've ridden on roads with clear areas where the car tires run and inches of snow between. As long as it's not icy, it's no more dangerous than wet, until you get over on the snow itself. Well, except for the danger of Nobody expects a motorcycle on the road, so they Really aren't looking at All. That's another danger that bad weather creates,, you've Really got to work at being seen.

I hate corroded motorcycles - so they stay parked until the spring rains wash the salt off the roads.

Well I made it through the day.....
However, it was coming down real hard after I posted this.
Not only that, when my wife awoke, it was snowing harder, and she asked, why I chanced it?
Told her I bet all the savings on Atlanta...
She said, no worry, I put it all on New England, so its a push......
She knows me too well.

The rain did come, eventually, after I started trying to find accommodations on this side of the water.....

Melted it almost all away.
Heck, the rain was worse than the snow, it was heavy and wind blown, and still cold, making my face cover fog up quickly....
I hate that!

Out of the 30 plus bikes that make the commute, only 4 of us chanced it...
I think the rest bet on the Seahawks to be in the Super Bowl and loss their titles Grin
