Like a fly screen but it went around headlight too. Like a mini cafe fairing .
Couldn't find it on eBay. I've seen them on two Savages , almost looks like they were made specifically for a Savage

Not quite Versy it completely hid body of headlight , but wasn't a so to speak bikini or 1/4 fairing. To help break up the air at freeway speed and high enough to hide bar mounted tach & speedo

Use google and type in "motorcycle headlight fairing" and you'll get a few. Below is one example.  If you find a good one that will fit the Savage please post it, I'm also interested in one.

I am interested in obtaining a medium sized wind shield for my 1988 Savage.  Something that can be positioned so that the top edge is just beneath my field of vision.  Thank you!

Thanks guys , see alot that fit the small Harley headlight 5 3/4" but need one that fits our stock headlight 7", I'm not givin up yet ! Some of those clear fly screens might look ok , but it would be cool to hide speedo tach behind it and have a spot to stuff my gloves & speeding tickets & stuff like that,

I suppose it makes a difference if you are referring to the size of the lens (5-3/4")....or the outside diameter of the housing (around 7").

Some of the fairings are made for the headlight to be hidden behind the fairing - with only enough room for glass lense to be visible - while others allow the entire housing to poke through.

The OEM windshield works well.  "just beneath my field of vision" depends on how tall you are.  It might be a bit shorter than what you want.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.
