I feel for you Joer0952. I know the heat can get deadly here in Houston, but I can handle the heat, but I am really bad with freezing and snowy weather.

A little bit of rain when it is warm .... no big deal.

It was nice just getting a chance to ride. I feel for you guys that are rained or snowed in.

I always forget how much I hate the winter in the summer and how much I hate the summer in the winter. I wish I could find a place that is early spring, late fall all year round. San Francisco would be close but that place is becoming a hell hole LOL

My general rule of thumb is that if rain chances are 20% or less, it is ok to risk it. This is the first time a 10% chance got me. It was really rather interesting as I was heading south on the HOV I had sun on the east and black clouds with some rain on the west. I was intersecting mostly sun but the rain got me in a few spots. When I finally got to an overpass I decided to put my rain gear on. Yep you guessed it, I did not hit any more rain after that. Grin
