Years ago, their were two newspapers in the Minn Area.
Morning, (Tribune), Evening, (Star).
They, Both had, ’NEWS’, articles, AND, a Page, which was labeled, ‘Opinions’.
The ‘Opinions’, pages held the Pro/Con Comments, and the Editorial Letters.
( Grew Up, Reading BOTH)
Then, the Trib, folded, and the, ’Star’ became, the, “Star Tribune”.
And for a while, still had the, ‘editorial’ pages’.
Then it morfed into, (What a Lot of people here call it), “The RED STAR” !
No more, ‘factual News’, Just Pure Opinion.
(Many others call it, ‘Bird Cage Liner’) !!!
(BTY, Amy Klobuchar’s father, was a Columnist for the, ’Star’, and, a TOTAL ULTRA, LIBERAL, for Many Many Years. (That how she got her seat as the AG of Henn County, and, She has been named by The New York Times as one of the seventeen women most likely to become the first female President of the United States, and by MSNBC and The New Yorker as a possible nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court. and she was a legal adviser to former Vice President Walter Mondale, she won all those, on NAME, recognition ONLY)
Around here, she is known as, ‘Hand Out, Amy’. (Pay her, you Get her support)
Anyway, have Not read the, ‘Red Star’ in 20 + Years.
Was meeting some people at a restaurant at, 6:30 AM, for a ‘outing’.
They were a little late. So Drank coffee, and picked up the, ’shop’ copy of the, ‘Red Star’, until they arrived.
Could NOT, have breakfast, it was, ALL,
Totally, Absolutely, A TOTAL, Ultra-Liberal, ’SPIN” on EVERY Event !!!!!!!!!!
So, at least here, their is NO, None, NADA, ’Truth’, to, ‘print’, Media.
Just guessing, that is the same, in many other cities, in this Nation !
Perhaps, part of, ‘Reclamation’, of this Nation, depends, on, ‘Media’ Telling the TRUTH !
And, Not putting the, ’Spin’, of the, “”””” Reporter””””””, on the News Story !
