1995 Savage Bobber

I just turned 19 last month and I've always loved cars and motorcycles. So much so that I bought 4 motorcycles in the past 3 months. My most recent purchase being a 1995 Suzuki Savage for $600. I'm in love with this bike! It needs some work but I'm determined to get it running. The savage is going to be the first bike that I actually start riding and learning on. My other bike is a stripped down, matte black 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100. The goldwing needs a new transmission and I decided that the Savage would be better to learn on. Anyways, here are some pictures of the Savage. The black logo on the side of the tank is a picture of guam, I think I might remove it and put another white star, I'm not sure though. Opinions?

Right now I'm working on the carb. I have to go pick up a new diaphragm assembly tomorrow because the one in it has a small tear. I might need a new fuel petcock, I'm still not sure on that one. Hopefully it'll start up after I get the carb back on. It also needs a muffler, new fuel cap and ignition switch set. I would really appreciate suggestions on what muffler to get, I don't know much about engines or exhaust systems yet.

Chax,

Most of us use a Harley Dyna Muffler.

Look through the Technical Section - Exhaust.

Here is a link.

Spend $30.00, put the Raptor petcock on. The cheap ones online aren't real Yamaha parts.

Go with the white star. It has a military theme.

PLEASE do something with that rear fender! Someone literally just cut it in half. Maybe you could reshape it a little.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!
