MSNBC has been suffering horrible ratings and seeing them drop, all the while that Fox ratings are climbing.  They realized that leaning to the left is a recipe for disaster, and they needed some right wing blood in the line up.  Doesn't hurt that Kelly is a fox in her own right, and while Greta won't win a beauty contest, she ain't no dummy.
