biggest  could find as 27-28 " which only lifts the bike .600" lots of money for a little lift. You would be better off extending the front forks to keep your footpegs out of the pavement.

tires have manufacturing tolerances ,an 18" tire can have an allowable diameter between 27 and 28 inches by some makers. In some cases it may just be the tread depth. You have to remember 18" is the inside diameter of the tire.

Thanks all.

Update - we purchased an 18" rear and we're happy with the way it looks with the front (less like a chopper, more like a "vintage")

Also - we're modifying the rear brake to disk.  If all goes well, it's going to match the front.

At any rate, I'm going to start a build post - (rubber side down?)

Thanks in advance for the tips/guidance.
