No mods needed. Has the correct connectors for the Savage.
Comes charged and ready to go.
JOG, if you are looking at the goofy red thing on the far battery post in the picture.. that is nothing more than the screws and spacers (if needed) that come with the battery.

Reply #8 - 12/29/16 at 13:58:22 The early big cranks came with an oversized block to bolt the cable end to. And you had to modify the anti rotation tab to fit it. I flattened mine out. The of course the rubber boot no longer fit. Also note that some say it's a tight fit and some say they couldn't get it in. I hear those complaints all the time.

It's been so long since I started using that battery that I didn't even remember having to flatten the tab.. must have done it at some point though.
