Build the Ryca CS-1, then sold it....  then MIA for a while.

I just bought a 2001 light blue metallic LS.  6 K miles.   I wanted to pull the drivetrain to repower a different project.  But darn...its too nice to do it to.

It will be a while before I get into it, but I'm thinking it might be better to sell of the "nice" bike and buy a wrecked one for the drivetrain?  

OR:  after pulling the drivetrain - sell off the entire chassis.....

Welcome back. I'd convert it into a cafe racer...with a GS550 tank...or a Benelli Mojave tank/seat pan, but that's just me. BTW, found the Goldilocks shocks. Check my suspension thread.

I was going to pull the engine and throw it in my Velocette.  But I've decided that I'm best to finish up the stock engine for the Velo, now that I have the rest of the parts I need.

Not sure If I'm going to sell this thumper or store it til the next brainstorm!   or brainfart.  

6500 miles.  bone stock.  Nice clean bike.  I've got some HD mufflers sitting there, maybe I'll pop them on, I don't know.

Ho, geeze, I'm sitting here with a low grade fever, pressure in my sinuses, and I don't even have a Dial Tone. I'm sure not able to absorb what is in the Technical section.

Swing69, if you do contemplate selling the bike, I'd be inclined to sell it bone stock. That way a person wanting bone stock can have it, a person wanting to mod, bob, chop, café, track, whatever, has a stock platform to do their thing. I don't think adding aftermarket mufflers will achieve much.

Swing69 do you have any hood HD mufflers you wanna sell?
