The United States is a business. Why shouldn't a businessperson lead it?

We're on the verge of bankruptcy. Why shouldn't a businessperson who knows how to counter guide us through it?

It really doesn't matter, the national debt is a straw man to make us accept even less from the government and our businesses.  Do you think China is really going to come to the door demanding payment?

First the business ran the pensions, but foisted that off on the workers and the government.  Now the wealthy want to reduce the governments payments to the working people when they retire cause it is too "expensive."  
Oddly enough, the very wealthy earn most their money through the lowest taxed sources, capital gains.  I wonder why it is the lowest taxed??

Foreclosing on a  Debt.

Let’s see.  You buy a house.
The  ‘Bubble  Burst’, and you now cannot  pay, the payments you agreed to.
Whatdoyoudo ?

Live in the House,  pay  the City for  water/sewer. Elect, Gas,
And   FORGOT  about the Payments to the Bank !

Bank sends letters, you send letters back,
Bank sends letters, you send letters back,
Bank sends  Letters, you send letters back.

(Don’t pay the  R.E. Taxes,   (Minn you got 7 years of  FREE)

Now, 3-4 months go buy, the Bank says,
“No Choice, we are going to foreclose”
(Which probably takes  ANOTHER 12  Months to complete)

So Now, you, live in your house, at  1/4 (or Less)
than cost of rent. for 12 - 15 months.

Then, the, ‘deadline’.    You pack up, move to  Mom & Dads  Basement,
(After of course  MAXING ALL your Credit Cards, for  TOYS)
Then  File  Bankruptcy.   (After hiding all your  toys)

Now, for the past  12-15  Months,  you have lived, for 1/4 the price of Rent !
For the next year, you have lived,  (Mom & Dads Basement)
for  1/8, the cost of rent.  (Or Less)
You have been  FORGIVEN, of  ALL your  DEBTS.
 (Bankruptcy)

Now, you go out, and  BUY, a New  House !!!!!!!!

Is it ANY  wonder, why,   ‘DEBT’,   is  So,
   “worthless a thing”.
And totally  not understood ????

Remove, ‘ethics’,   Cheat, Lie,  Steel,
and one is,  ’Home  Free” !

Back in "the good old days" when things got this bad you just got in your galleon and headed out to "the new world".

Unfortunately the dark side of humanity followed to the new world as well and set up shop ... rising to the top like a "floater".

Gotta find a way to wrest this new world from the floaters or pay the consequences . I think we're just about out of "new worlds".

Remember the Savings and Loan fiasco, followed by the great home loan scandal where the tax payers paid the bonuses for the big bankers who almost destroyed the banking system??  Too big to fail (a great definition of monopoly to my mind).  For a debt to be real, there has to be a punishment for defaulting.  Who is going to punish the US/  NO OTHER COUNTRY has the military or financial power to fill the vacuum a departed US would create so for now, trillions in debt is really monopoly money. (I couldn't resist)  It is simply a political jingle.
