It is apparent that if you build the sissy bar and the carrier to suit the intended load you come up with something very useful.

Good Job!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Just remember, the only thing holding all that stuff up back there are four bolts located in the first 1/3 of the back fender.
I realized that when I put the harley tourpack on the back of mine.
I loaded about 60lbs worth of stuff to go camping on one that was behind the tail light... and realized I had to move the center of gravity forward a bit.
So I eleminated the passenger seat and mounted it closer to the front part of the rear fender.

Happy road testing, but don't lane split with the carrier on. If you could figure adding some padding to the front of the guitar case you might have a nice back rest.

We had a feller from Arkansas (?)  Huh   SouthPaw ???

Anyway he packed up for a dragon run and had a military style Duffle bag : Standing-Up on the back of his bike.   It was so top heavy that we turned onto a gravel road and it , just slid-out-from-under-him soon as the pavement ended.   Be careful of too much weight up high.  Smiley

Wern't to swift about mechanical thinking , but He sure could Sing and Play a Guitar good !
