An answer to a riddle.....
12/10/16 at 08:15:15

The NYT, the final word, the holy grail, etc, of the left.
The handbook of those who like to protest, obstruct, act out....

This is what its editor said: (Baquet continued): "We don't get religion. We don't get the role of religion in people's lives. And I think we can do much, much better."

So, could one say ISIS, believes that too?
The Crusaders?
Nazi's?

The man just admitted to being agenda driven, yet doesn't understand others who believe theirs are better.
I suggest he just look in the mirror for his answers.

He says he was raised a catholic, so I guess that makes him informed into how religion has failed.
I guess all those that voted for Obama, who then voted for Trump, must feel the same, his beliefs failed them.

This explains Bot so much.
No wonder he is having such a hard time right now.
They need to be in power, to feel good about themselves.

BTW, I agree that "organized" religion is failing, as it should.
It too is "people" based on much of the same mindset of the editor's....
They think they can "make it better" by pointing out others failures and then enforcing change.
Until one respects the "free will" of others, as much as they "demand" theirs, nothing will ever change.

Peace is not a handgun.
Peace ain't what you knocked off from what you picked up at the bar last night.
Peace is not organizing the (pieces) of the lives of others.
Peace is not a finger gesture, one of which you pick your nose with.
Peace IS a gift you give to yourself.....

Find the tools that help you to stay in the peace-zone....
Its more precious than gold.
Better for your health than all the fitness gurus, doctors, meds.

Heck, its even better than a Harley that looks like a savage  Grin

No worried.....

I look around at all the leftist, it seems they are ill with anger, disillusionment, and groping for something.
They are the ones who said they would have to pull up their roots and move, that is drastic, over what, a perception, fake news?

The man has not even been sworn in, yet, goodness.

Well I am glad you are fine, and I hope you can join back in soon, sharing your Botness w/ us.

I think religion is a crutch for the weak. (No offense to JoG).
Just how I feel.

I don't understand it either. People slaughtering each other wholesale, and for what? To appease a deity that doesn't even exist?

Why don't we do rain dances anymore? Why don't we throw virgins into volcanoes? Why don't we slit throats for a bountiful harvest anymore?

One must find what is sustainable to them...,
He can't call his beliefs as true and enforce it upon others,
Doesn't have to be called believer, agnostic, or atheist, to extend ines views/beliefs, or lack of understanding someone else's, to support your belief, or faith.....
That will never be sustainable, you have then put a condition on it, that will never yield sustained peace.
If it's man based, that even makes it harder to attain.
I am not saying impossible, just harder cause we all put self before others pretty much.
