This past weekend Shadow and I were participants in this annual event.
I rode over Friday afternoon in the pouring rain to friends house.
They had me a nice hot cup of coffee ready and Shadow a nice warm place
In the garage to dry off in.
That run was a day of thousands of bikes, riders and spectators..
Their was a Huge turnout even with cloudy skies and rain forecasted.
We were there early so were in the first group to leave the mall.
Towards the end of our ride it started raining and we got a little wet but not soaked
On way back to friends house.
A lot of money and toys were gatherd to help alot of needy kids have a Merry Christmas..
Sunday my return trip home was in beautiful, cool sunshine..
It felt so good to be on the bike and have the time with my friends..
I feel so blessed to be able to ride and help raise money for the kids too..
I don't normally have weekends off, in fact asked for this next 3 months ago!!
Sorry I didn't get a post mentioning this event before the start. My schedule with the
Holidays has been jacked around a bit and trying to keep gym, zumba and other things
going keeps me busy as well..
