Winter Maintance and On Going Up Grade Projects

Last winter I decided to "tweak" the motor (@ 7K miles) a skosh wee bit, and like all projects there was a bit of "mission creep".    I ended up  with a Lectron 38mm carb, machined/ performance head, stage 3 cam shaft , Wiseco 94mm (10.5 CR) piston, Varsi's cam chain adjuster and head plug, new cam chain, Barrett HD clutch, 25 tooth front pulley, and a custom 1.75" OD header and Dyna muffler...  All resulting in 39 + Horse Power at the rear wheel.   Smiley
This fall I noticed that the brake fluid was a bit dingy , (Probably original from the factory) and figured that the fork oil was probably in need of replacement too. (I was right, grungy as ....) Of course we need a bit of "creep" in every project, sooooo.  Roll Eyes  The Thumper NOW has a braded brake line, new pads, Varsi's 3/2 slant drilled rotor, the system flushed and fresh fluid.  The cherry on top is a KTat fork brace.   Cool

I'm glad you're not my proctologist.
That's Not a place where Mission Creep is acceptable.
Besides, I'm unpopular enough  with the low compression, stock exhaust..

Central New Mexico 4,965 ft. above sea level....The Thumper is ready to ride and I'm up and ready to go... Open the garage door and...  WHAT THE HE** IS THIS WHITE STUFF ON THE GROUND !!!!!   Aw Rats.

Back in the house for a cup of coffee while the solar powered & remote controlled snow removal equipment does it's thing.....

3PM and 50 degrees.  I'm back from an hour's ride... Nose is a bit leaky, but it is nice to be back on the Thumper....   Cool
