Black Friday deals .  Roll Eyes

My son's Four-wheeler is about gone so I gave him the options of :
Taking over the one I've been ridding
      or
     Getting his fixed .

He likes the Honda 350 Ranger better than the 250 Bayou ,  Shocked

We don't need more than one 4-wheeler anyway , but some times we need to double team chasing cows .   So , for the second ATV I got us one of these :   6.5 HP.

I hope you got one that runs well.  A few years ago a fellow at work bought 2 of them....one for each of his sons.  One ran well, the other one was way down on power.  I took the carb apart and cleaned it, and it didn't run any better afterwords.....the darn thing would get left behind by the other one.

Wow a real rancher how cool , across the street is a small cattle ranch , they are our best neighbors. I always wanted a ranch maybe with some orchards & a garden. But sadly I'm stuck inbetween working in the big city and living in country.

MM , I read something about your new ride. The wheel bearings are sealed on both sides and next to nothing for lube inside causing failures. So if you remove the bearings & pop off one seal pack them with grease & reinstall with the seals facing out they should last awhile. Also heard of some clutches failing but no fix for that just replace it ?

I don't know if 28 cows makes a Ranch , but we can't have a Farm cause we don't till no dirt except a garden.

I'm already thinking about the clutch on the belt drive rotor-tiller replacing the clutch on the mini bike (the mirror image of it).   I took it up the hills today to see if it would climb , before I go mounting fence-repair gear on those big racks.   It went up just fine ... but ...   Embarrassed   ...  There ain't no engine break coming down  Shocked

There is a rear break (drum) that will lock-up the rear tire on blacktop if ya get on it.   But it will wear out in short order coming down these Lynchburg hills.

I was reading a little about the Tork-converters made for these small engines.   Best I can gather they might not supply any engine breaking down hill either ...  Huh
any body had any experience with the pulleys that change sizes as ya speed up and slow down ?
