The People are sick of both parties.. but the left is the most oppressive, obnoxious, obstinate, obtuse, gaggg me.

In Canada the general population is becoming more upset with politics/politicians as well.
Political "business as usual" doesn't cut it any more ... I'm not sure if people are getting wiser or politicians are getting worse.
Sometimes I think our blindness is worse that their self-serving unbridled antics.

I have voted for over 50 yrs -  I used to vote folks in, then I voted folks out.
Today, with our "decline your vote"  ( http://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/declining-your-ballot-not-in-the-next-... ) in Provincial Elections, and soon hopefully in Federal Elections, I can have my "NONE OF THE ABOVE" vote registered as refusal of all the candidates ! .... and not have my vote buried in the "lost & spoiled" pile.
The "declined" votes are counted along with the totals for each/all candidates - and the "declined' votes are ever increasing.

The overall self-serving ineptness, corruptness and ineffectiveness of government coupled with out-of-control debt increase which surpasses vulgar & profane is not being accepted by people.

I guess folks just finally get tired of Gov't. "peeing down your back and telling you it's raining" ....

An Aussie friend says: "The Australian government always does the right thing  ...  after they have exhausted every other possibility"
"If you have a $1,000.00 dollar job that needs doing just give the Politicians $1,000,000.00 and they'll eventually (hopefully) complete the project" .
