I just found this article yesterday and at first, the pictures seemed strange but the more I read, the more sense it made. Keep all three wheels flat on the ground but shift the center of gravity by pushing the rider to the inside of each curve.

In defense of the Piaggio, I see it far different from training wheels or the usual trike. You're still leaning into the corners. The one person that I knew that had one was a very avid rider and bought it just to see what it was like. I think he ended up giving it to his mom when he was done with it.

The upside is that it locks the suspension when you come to a stop. No need to put your feet down so it would be very nice for someone that has low mobility or maybe a missing limb. You still get the 2 wheel riding experience with the stability of a trike at low / no speed.

I have built 4 or more trailers in my day from scratch, 2 were for pulling behind a motorcycle and both worked wonderfully.

I had in my head and somewhat on paper the notion of a motorcycle with a sidecar where the sidecar leaned with the cycle.  Then, I found out that someone had already done it.  I didn't get it built, but it was fascinating.  I had ridden some bikes with rigid sidecars and I didn't like the feel.

I don't see this NTV concept as really workable ,they're showing a lean angle of 52 degrees ,unless the base platform is highly weighted what's keeping the rider from hitting the road? These people are putting out minimal info ,fishing for investors ,in a project I think is doomed to fail.If this design is workable,show me a prototype,not a silly drawing! Their drawing shows the center of gravity (the symbol -a circle with four quadrants),outside the two front wheels,which would make the inner front wheel a fulcrum ,were as the two wheeler next to it has the weight directly over the wheels no matter what the lean angle.the Piaggio mp3 works because they run motorcycle tires that lean in such a way as to equally stay in contact with the road ,thus the center of gravity stays in direct line with the bike .
