That little Honda is neat. Looks like the XR200 engine with the addition of electric starter over the transmission.
I'd like to try out one of those.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I like that little Honda it's cool
I hate it when they won't import the cool bikes
Good eye Papa Bear
That's almost a dead knock-off for the SYM Wolf classic. No wonder you (I) like it! Also please consider the new Ducati 400 Scrambler Sixty2. At $8,000 MSRP, tho, they probably won't fly off the floor.

According to the Feb 2016 test by Cycle World, the Duc 400 is a vtwin. But $8,000??
Too bad the small, entry-level, affordable bikes of yore aren't available to new riders today.
P.S.: Just curious....does anyone know the MSRP of the first-year Savage?

Technically an "L" twin, 41 screamin' horses with the famous desmo valves. A friend took one out for a test ride and it got away from her. $1500 for repairs and still no bike.

If memory serves, $1999 was what they actually sold for on sale, but that went up fairly quickly.

$1999 in 1986 dollars would not be too far off. According to a couple of online inflation calculators, $100/1986 = $217.60/2015, so rough-figuring, $4349. With all dealer charges & sales tax, my 2015 S40 cost just over $5K.
FWIW, my first new bike, a 1973 CB350 twin was $867...but I was getting paid $2/hour as a gas station pump jockey/light mechanic.
