It is November 3rd, and at 4 AM it was 66 degrees here in KY.
I decided to rid the bike to work......and when I hit the starter button....nothing! I thought about this thread......then moved the engine "STOP" button and the bike fired right up! Most likely not any kind of intervention from above.....just a bit of stupidity on my part!
As a slight off topic comment....the weather has been incredible here in KY. There is a chance of rain in the afternoon hours today - but it is gone by evening. The next 10 days are supposed to be dry with daytime temperatures in the upper 60"s! I am still using my outdoor shower every night....I usually have it winterized by this time of year.

You rigged up an outdoor shower?
Howcum?
You toss a bone in and sucker Lily into bath time?

The outdoor shower is wonderful.....on a hot day after doing yard work, it is very refreshing - and I don't have to waste anytime cleaning and drying off the glass walls of the indoor shower! And....it has a nice shelf that is very handy for setting my "end of the day Margarita" within reach!
And....it does have a hose on the bottom so Lilly can get her bath when needed.

That was good Dave. Yeah, I rode in to work today myself. There is some chance of rain today but it was a cool 71 this morning. Bike ran great and it did start on the first try.
Enjoy the weather Dave.

It's been ~85 day/60 night here. I haven't ridden since last Friday as I have had some sort of stomach issue going on and don't want skid marks on my motorcycle seat
but I think I should be able to ride tomorrow, as I do most Friday's.

Couldn't you ride "sidesaddle"?

Maybe...but in the event of an 'incident' my engine would look (and smell) worse than MM's after he hit bugs bunny. Would be an ugly situation.

I feel for you Stew. My stomach has been doing somersaults today and I am not feeling so hot. Just took a swig of good ole Pepto.
Note to self - Go to bathroom before heading home tonight!

I've never checked my battery water level in almost 3 years of owning this bike. Should I be concerned? She cranks beautifully.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I never really thought about checking the water level on the battery before, but as hot as it is in Houston I guess it makes sense to check it at least once a year. If your battery is 3 years old you may be needing a new one soon. It can't hurt to check it.

Another day in Paradise , I make-up a reason to ride everyday !
Only thing I'm spending more $$$ giving the cows city water than I'm spending on gas for the Bikes ...
Rain might be good ?
