Will any other Suzuki ignition switch work on a 2003 Savage? A switch for vs800 looks to be the same switch. Thanks  James

The ig switch just provides 40 amps max, so there are probably a lot of alternates.
And the VS800 has a lot of common parts with the savage.  If it looks the same it might be.
Check the part numbers in the fiche.

Couldn't ANY switch work as long as you could turn it to on and off with the correct number of connections? We could always just skip the park feature.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I have looked at both and they are twins in looks, the way attach to bike, the no and color wires and the same green plug. Mine is about shot and I was looking for one.
