I give you an even better scenario-

Thumpers are fun, aren't they? You wouldn't happen to be the same Papa Bear that owns a Wolf, would you.

Edited: Just found another of your posts that shows your Wolf. I've been following the SymForum (at least the Wolf section). I was seriously considering getting one but could never really answer the question of "Why". I already own a 2015 SR400. What the Wolf has going for it is that they just look like so much fun. I still may get one someday.

Good to see you on here.

I'm "Papa Bear" at the SYM forum as well.

My Wolf was the perfect bike to get me back into motorcycling.

Based on some of your posts over on the SYM forum, I predict you will have a long, happy relationship with your S40. Have you ever ridden over the bridge at Mackinac? I grew up in Ohio, and that was a rite of passage. Did it on a Honda CB350. Scared the bejesus out of me Shocked! But that was a long time ago in a land now far away. I am a very conservative rider now, and my 2012 S40 with +5,000 miles could pass for brand new. All stock except the rear shocks and petcock.

HAPPYDAN:

Had the same experience on my very first long trip in 1975, age 17. Riding a '73 CB350 with stock rib tire on the front, "weavey-wobbling" over the Big Mac bridge.

Then I looked down...at the WAVES... UNDER the bridge Shocked  Undecided

Was an...ummm..."exciting" introduction to bridge grating

It was 1972, and I was somewhere between "Twist and Shout" and "Shakin' All Over".  Grin

Ahhh, the "Good Ol' Days....gas was, what, 80¢ a gallon and a bike-nomad could pitch his pup tent almost anywhere...and the filling-buzzing vibration of that 350 Twin at 55 mph didn't seem all that bad.
