Check cam chain tensioner. If you don't have a verslavy yet, get one.

Reply #2 - 10/17/16 at 11:23:53 In addition to the chain tensioner, I'd consider porting and polishing the exhaust side of the head. Install a high compression piston (kit) and maybe a stage 3 cam.

I am looking to do all the tweaks I can while the motor is out, emailed verslagen for his goodies, if a new cam and piston will give a decent boost I will do that too. not sure yet where to get them I live in Yorkshire, uk
