Yeah, an '80s vintage, expensive, BRITISH car. Maybe the guy was just sick of trying to keep it running, and was there to donate it.  Cut his losses, take the tax deduction and buy something dependable.

Are we really going to argue semantics? I don't drive a new car because I can't afford the car, insurance, and taxes associated with it. The theme of my post remains constant. Life ain't fair.

Just because I feel like being contrary - and because I enjoy a good semantic argument.

Doubling the PRICE of the car does not necessarily double the VALUE of the car.

VALUE, I think, is in the eye of the beholder.
