The 900cc motor in that bike was impossibly smooth. If the 1200cc in this bike is anywhere close to the same, it's going to be way too refined for the normal bobber crowd. Maybe they purposely made the seating position super uncomfortable to make up for that.

Being reported on an Indian news site doesn't lend the story any credibility. They just make that stuff up.

At this point....that is a prototype. I bet they end up with a better looking product (and a front fender) if it does go into production.

When I saw the spy photos of the prototype, I guessed they were going to base the bobber off the Street Twin with the 900cc engine. I assumed a MSRP of slightly under 10K.

Since it's actually the the 1200, with all the extra electronics, that sucker is going to have to have a sticker price in the 12 to 14 thousand range. Pretty doggone fancy "bobber".

I like the way it looks way better than I liked the prototype, but if I was going to drop that much dough on a Triumph it would have to be a ThruxtonR

Not that I could drop that kind of money anyway, but 900cc would have been a better placement for a bobber IMO. These pics definitely look better than that earlier peek, though.
