Grasping......

I understand the referencing, its a valid observation.
I can't say a person can't change their beliefs (of something) that then makes their previously held ones wrong (at the time).
Clinton's changed their views on Gay marriage, as an example.
They believed their previous belief at the time....
We all do this, hopefully, its how we grow and learn in understandings

IF you could get an HONEST answer out of her, I would be surprised to hear anything other than

I don't CARE one way or another about homosexual marriages.

The government has no business in marriage, anyway.

You didn't figure out why a consumption tax is a bad idea?

Our constitution is a document of federal governmental limitations as much as a document of federal governmental authority so the feds should only get involved where clear and present reasons exist for the good of the Republic and where constitutional authority exist.

If the federal government has authority to collect federal income tax (and let's set aside that argument for a moment) I believe history shows a marriage between men and women with children is fundamental to a healthy society. Therefore, IF there is going to be social engineering using the tax code, one of the few that should be allowed,  is a benefit for marriage with children.

You are so right, why it was enacted, however, on its face it decides morality based on a belief.
Arguments can be made that it is devisive with stigmatized application.

Carried to its extreme we get The crusades, ISIS, political correctness, etc.
This is why we need a consumption tax, and jog, I get your opposition, however, once implementedand in working order I think the needy will rise out of POVerty, with opportunities, if they so desire.
We can not make policies to serve those that choose to be parasites.

And the logic that belief rests On?
How does your proposal Not cut the Tax Base?
If I can hide four million dollars from taxes and not risk it, why invest? When I BUY stocks, I'm a Consumer, right?
Or, what? Just shield those dollars from tax?
I'm waiting for an explanation, not
I believe.
For all I know you're strapping a swing arm bag on, with Unicorn horn decorations.

Explain WHY it would work. I explained why it won't. Just partially, because the whole of it beyond me and you can't beat what I laid down..so, beat my points, I'll try to understand.

This will be my last reply to you on the subject.....period, carry on if you must.

I do NOT know all the particulars, how , what, why, the details of implementing it.....
HOWEVER, the current system is NOT working, and the RICH are catching the breaks now, while the money ear marked for the NEEDY, goes through so many channels, just like our education budgets, that by the time it gets to where its GOING, it might be what, 10 cents on the buck collected?

I DON"T KNOW...... You say you do, cause you read sumtin, somewhere, and poof, that's it, a magic bullet all over again.

I DO KNOW, we have NOT tried it, so how I can I tell you what about it will WORK????

You have HOPE, hope that Don Ho can deliver a magic cure to repair all that is ill, HOPE, that is all you have, period.

Can't you extend that to anybody else?
Or do you ALWAYS have to be right?

FINISHED, kaput, adios  Kiss

I explained that t he tax base decreases and why.
Just because it's untried doesn't mean it should be.
It's OBVIOUS that the burden to pay the taxes falls Totally on those who Must SPEND EVERY DOLLAR TO SURVIVE.
Your PERCEPTION is that the wealthy pay no taxes. You're wrong.
My dad was a millionaire and when I got out of the Air Force he told me he paid more in taxes than I made. I'm sure it's a lot more. Right Now, lower wage earners get Back more than they paid in. The rich are paying their share, plus some. The PROBLEM is spending. Not just how much, but on what.
You want Wealth?
Elect trump..
You want to see a crash?
Don't elect trump.
NAFTA has HURT YOU AND ME.
He is the only one who has ever said
Elect me, I'll change that. I'll remove it or fix it, she won't.
And she won't.
But she Will shove carbon taxes down our throats and pass the Tpp ,, ohh, and that's it, daddyo.. that's the big banana.

But nobody else will even spend three hours to learn how it works.. what little bit is even public.

Your idea is an anchor for a drowning man. There's a buncha Reasons it won't ever be tried. Anyone can see it is not a good idea.

Several years ago,
(Under King Bama)

A  Fed  Legislator, wrote a, ’Tax Break’,
for himself, Tacked it on  a Bill.
For a  HUGE,  ’Tax Break, Dedication’,
for a very certain kind/make of a SUV.

Now,   Astute, tax accounts,   informed their clients,
if they took advantage of this, ’new SUV’,
They would receive a  HUGE,  ’Tax Break’.
That Year !

So, Now.
Who do you blame?
The Fed Legislator, who wrote That  Particular, ’Tax Break, for HIMSELF ?
Or the person, who had a CPA,  who does your Taxes, who said, ‘If you want one, buy it now, because this year is a  HUGE  Tax Break.’.

WHO, is to Blame ???

Is It,
Kinna like, ‘Blaming Trump’, for something he Said,  many years ago.
But  NOT,  Blaming the Clinton’s, for what they, Have  DONE,  for the last 45 Years?

Is it,
kinna like, blaming Trump, for taking Advantage, of the ’Tax’ rules,
WRITTEN,  ONLY  for the benefit of,  Bama, Clintions, and their  ‘Buddies’ ?

WHO,   Exactly, is at fault ??????
