Get it up off the ground, run it through the gears. You'll know if its a torqwshudder or driveline balance issue.

Not at idle. Run it up to the speed you change gears, change, go on..

I've never replaced one myself.
Did you check to see if an OEM replacement yoke includes the dampener ?

Found out it is called a slip yoke assembly. Got one online for $90, it is on the way. Thanks for all the input, I will update when I get it done.
