But the alternator should keep the voltage up and keep the engine running.

Leave the battery in the truck to make life a little easier. Hook up your jumper cables but DO NOT start the truck! If the truck battery starts to run down (after cranking the bike for a while), unhook the bike and let the truck's alternator charge the truck's battery for a few minutes. You do not want the truck's alternator putting juice into the bike!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!
