Owing to my inherent laziness, I decided to make a captive wheel spacer to make real wheel R+R easier. Grabbed a chunk of aluminum round stock and made one. The lip on the end lives on the inboard side of the rear wheel spacer. I was going to change the sprocket carrier bearing to a 2RS 9double rubber shield) bearing, so it was a perfect excuse to yank it all apart. New bearing and seal. The spacer is installed along with the seal. These gizmos are available for a lot of sport bikes, but not for Savages. So I had to make one.
