Weird, at the end he seems to just drop the bike for no reason.  I watched the video several times and the wheel didn't seem to slide out and the speed was enough to stay up.  He must have made a really bad error in steering the thing.  Any ideas as to why he drops it.  Other than being a jerk.

right after he comes back into view from going behind the gas pumps I think he grabs the front brake a little, and that combined with the left turn got the best of him. likely a new bike or a bike with snappy front brakes that he's not used to.

So much stupid.

I'm sure just before the camera rolls the rider says "here, hold my beer".

Maybe the MSF needs to add "Proper Tire Smoking" as a requirement to the basic rider course!

Hey ya'll, watch 'iss!  Roll Eyes

Notice all the people trying to tell him no?

Stew, I think you're right. He tried to brake too hard in a low speed turn and may have hit a puddle at the gas station.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I think Stew has it right.  Using the front brake seems to be the only explanation.

Croatian group in Rjeka, formerly known as Italian Fiume.

Idjit trying to do a burnout and senior members (with leathers) trying to explain it's a bad idea.

Quite possibly a new bike as it is crystal clear he is not accustomed to such responsive (snappy) front brakes, so he locks the front wheel and has a low side, loses face.

What was that ? Oh, yes, Darwin Award... guy's so dumb he couldn't even qualify for that...
