You don't expect a business to survive in America with NAFTA and the other destructive trade deals going on do you?
The SYSTEM is what it is. Yeah, there is a niche market for made in America stuff, but twenty bucks a pair for underwear is a bit limiting. I guess you missed the part he said about how first thing he would Do is go back and UNDO the trade deals that drove our jobs overseas.
Do you understand what drastic cuts to taxes on businesses would do for America? Let them bring the offshore money home.

That nobody had even remotely suggested it doesn't mean I shouldn't just toss it out, right?

When discussing economic issues, tossing out words like
Isolationism
would tend to make the person you're talking to think that you've somehow decided that they have suggested a course of action that you see as isolationist.

I'm fine with trade, with anyone. But the agreements we have made have damaged our economy.
We either UNDO what was done or watch the decline continue.
The TPP is quietly, secretively, being pushed through.
Our sovereignty goes with it.
