I'm in Robbinsville, NC and this truly is a special part of the world. Unfortunately only here for 2 days and I have to head back. I have some real nice photos if anyone is interested.

The dragon was tough this year. There were four accidents yesterday and I happened to come two of them after the fact. They said their was a fatality this past weekend as well. I spoke to some locals they say their is two or three accidents a day. I didn't realize it was that dangerous.

Yes, it was long and curvy but I was expecting something much harder after all the hype. Well, if it did not hold your interest then just pick up your average speed by 10-20 mph. Cool

Anybody can jerk it open on the strait sections , but that Min. part will humble most of us ... me too on a couple of them ! Enjoyed the pictures :
