The battery box/engine mounts are removable....you have to unbolt those from the frame to provide clearance (that is why they are removable).

I use a 4 or 5" piece of pcv pipe and rope, put rope thru pipe and thru hole where you removed the top rear engine mounting bolt and tie a good knot take engine out of rightside. Use the handle and grab at base of cylinder with the other hand. I put a plastic milk crate next to bike so once it's out set it on the milk crate, rest a minute,now move it to the work bench. Done
