Who's Lives Matter........

1) What drives the BLM movement?
2) Do they feel underrepresented, disenfranchised, ignored?
3) Is this what is leading them to act upon?
4) Are we justified in taking matters into our own hands, as recourse?
5) Is civil unjust and disobedience  acceptable recourse?
6) Is this recourse acceptable actions regardless of cause, and by whom?
7) Is there some standard that must be met to allow leniency toward some, but not others?
8) Is it right to isolate a cause under certain criteria, like race, gender, etc, but attack any opposition who respond against this cause with a "lumping" of those who label themselves accordingly?

9) I think if we can honestly address these questions, we might uncover the motivation behind why people are voting for Trump....

10) The moment we extend liberties to ourself, but deny the same, to others, only conflict will result, from such actions.

Why are we surprised?

11) Have not the Black community been voicing their grievances for decades?
Yes.
12) Have many folk, including a white, middle class male, been voicing his feelings for years too?
13) Do we just minimize him, and label him, like we did the Black race with the lowest common denominator, assigning it, with prejudice, to all Blackmen?

This solves what?

1) Greed, boredom, lack of awareness
2) They feel that way in the same manner puppy love feels like real love
3) Yes, they’re wrong, but yes.
4) Whose hands are you talking about? Do you mean we should run rioters over if they’re blocking the street?
5) Yes, it’s always been that way. If the cause is just, the participates will sacrifice to move the cause forward.
6) No, there are limits.
7) That’s like pornography, I’ll know if someone is due leniency when I see it.
8) That’s the liberal playbook. See history of Clarence Thomas
9) To that, I politely say F you.
10) Oh yea? Extend the same liberties you have to convicted child molesters.
11) Yes, and they've been supporting Democrats the entire time
12) Not always. For the most part, we just go about living our lives.
13) only if he's a Republican or conservative. Democrats and liberals are put on pedestals and we are suppose to understand his shortcomings are not his fault, but ours.

I like the way you parsed this, thanks!

Web, I think the ORIGINAL motivation by BLM was based on the frustration, and REALIZATION, that the liberals were only paying them lip service.
Let's use a recent post/reply where Bot states as fact that over 90% of the Blacks will vote for Hillary.
As a white guy claiming such, as if they know they have them Colored folk locked in.....you know, cuz none have the ability to think for themselves, so we fool one, we fool them all, mentality.
I found his remark extremely telling, and ACCURATE as to what the liberal whites really think.....
Talking with Black co-workers, this is mostly how they feel too.
Also, they ( my co-workers ) believe they are being USED by the media, to perpetuate a stereotype, using the White cop, Black kid, to sell advertising, etc, and have no real dog in the fight.

Why does it seem that civil disobedience, demonstrations, rioting, etc, is an avenue of expression by the less educated and more dependent on government assisted lifestyle, than the blue collar 9 to 5 person?

Dawg,.. have you noticed whenever you ask "questions", they're actually declarative statements followed by a Question mark?...

This is why I rarely answer...
You already have your mind made up and stated within the question.
So, it's actually just baiting...

Nope. BLM took off after the Michael Brown thing gave punks an excuse to riot. As soon as some slightly smarter thugs realized there was money to be made off of protesting the least of the things that made themselves 2nd class citizens, (police brutality) they pushed the narrative.

As you can tell, I give BLM absolute zero credit for anything  constructive. It's an loose organization of thieves using people who have been conditioned that living in poverty, squalor and violence is an acceptable way of living. Then the whites who missed their chance to protest the real wrongs of the 60's thought it would be hip to drive 45 minutes to the getto and walk around carrying clever sign joined in the fun. After a 'protest' aka riot, they could head back to the burbs and their artsy/fartsy bars so they could munch on overpriced appetizers and drink Coronas with limes.

Bot, I think that is your perception. I know I ask questions based on the hope of gathering more information from different perspective.
But of course the question will be asked from my own perceptions, prejudice, etc.
It is one place where this type of exchange fails for body language is a great source of reading a persons intent, etc.
All of us, lacking that, have to try and extend our understandings, which really isn't that easy, I believe.

Thanks for what I believe was an honest input  Grin

Really, ‘Baiting’, Really ????
I Whole Heartily disagree.

In Fact, I had to print out raydog’s post, (questions),
to match them up with you, ‘cryptic’,  Yes/No, (answers).

And NO Where did I see the word,  “ I “.
I saw, ‘what’, and ‘is’ a lot.   They were, QUESTIONS.

Just like, raydog, asked questions about how a person purchases a firearm.
From a standpoint of,  “Been Their-Done That", (And STILL DO), I Answered.
With the FACTS,  NOT, the Lies the Media tout.

Yes, raydog and I, disagree, on voting for a 3rd party,
Because in Nov of this year, it is Pointless.
Perhaps in 4 years it will work, but Not now.

But, he is, ‘Baiting’ ?????????    NO.

Perhaps, it is, if a poster, agrees, with your position, it is Not Baiting.
But if they don’t,  than it IS ?

So, In Post # 14, where I, ask you questions.
Do you ALSO, consider that, 'Baiting' ?
