We are in the mist of a heat spell, 90's, here on the island, which meant I had to put the boat in to cool off....
Might as well crab, too, I guess.

First crab trap was heavy, really heavy, and here's why.......



Bunch of them critters in it!

This guy had more than my legal limit.
Tossed all back minus my legal take, and waited to pick my wife up at the dock, so she could get her limit.

Didn't take but one pot.

Tossed back more keepers, and went in to clean them, and eat em'  

A look into our cooler, better than a micro brew, eh?



And this bowl full of cleaned dungeness crab, waiting to be crammed into my mouth.
I have since learned how to shove it all in and still be able to breath, at the same time  



Guess I'll have to go out again this afternoon.

BTW, for you locked on land, and you were to go buy 10, 1 and a 1/2, to 2 and a 1/2, pound crabs at the market, most likely you would have to drop over 2 hundred dollars on these!
