Do I put the oil in the top hole or tip the bike on its bars and fill it through the bottom one?

Gee, I'd sure like to know... Last oil change I wondered about that. It was a whole lot of trouble turning that thing upside down. I always wondered why there was that one cap on the top. There seems to be already one to let air out and make sure its not overfull. Maybe they meant to install a dipstick, but Suzuki's engineers decided it was too much expense, so the just put a screw cap on it. Maybe it's there to prime the oil pump? So... I have to turn it upside down to fill it and then again right side up again to prime it? Boy, this whole procedure is complicated.

I wish I had a simpler bike. I think I'll go buy a twin-cam Harley. Surely, only two cams must not be too complicated....After all, its only two. Only Jap bikes are complicated. What could possibly go wrong?

The other forum has a special column for those who dare to embarrass themselves and tell about their screw ups.

But they don't have a you know who.
Guess that makes us special.

6 gallon? ... I got the same one.

It's a little hard on those wheels though.
But it's a blast going through corners, I've taken out 3 pedestrians and a dog already.

Off topic replies have been moved to this thread.

I moved the oil discussion to a new thread.....gotta keep the ducks and the oil away from each other!
