Disc drilling

Not much metal in these discs, so I only poked a few holes in.

Think it will do any good?

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

in between the patterns of three... you need a pattern of 2 so that the whole pad is swept.
I think the holes do a lot of good, since I've had them, I don't have to clean the disc every so often to keep it from squealing.

Like this?
Almost didn't bother, but I threw the disc back on the jig and wrote an extra few steps on the program.
If I did it again, I'd prob do fewer holes. The disc is pretty minimal.

Holes work against friction, less material, but they look cool!

Yep, nice pattern, I may steal it from you.

Help yourself Verslagen.
I might go to 8 sets of holes to give a little more metal between the holes. That and rotate the pattern so that the holes aren't near the arms.
I used incrementally larger bits as the holes went toward the perimiter.

I don't have a CNC, or anything that would help to get the radial/circular swept pattern done evenly.....so I just used a protractor and my drill press. I drilled 2 holes in alternating paths.
Your patterns look nicer - this one works and is easier for us amateurs!
