Rims that fit

What are choices that fit or are a close fit for our bikes?  Looking for wagon spoke rims.  Big fat tires are not necessary.

You can find a lot of really good information in the Technical Section, and there is a Table of Contents with links that makes it easy to use.

Here is a link to the cast wheel thread.

Read it.  I am just wondering if there are more or less direct swaps to get into a plain wagon spoke look.

Maybe you can find wheels that will do what you want that nobody has found. Maybe you will solve the problem many have tried to solve.

Well, that is what I was asking
I see them on our bikes, wondering how it was done.
Does the axle bolt need modding?
Does the swing arm stay the same?
Are different shocks needed?
Anything with a belt drive on it?
I saw the part about the brake rotor.

If you choose the wheels in the linked thread, then the instructions are there.

If not, then the variables are vast.
choose a common axle sizes or deal with it.
choose a common disc size or deal with it.
choose a 6 lug pulley/sprocket damper or deal with it.
choose a common drum size or deal with it.

you won't give me a starting point so... deal with it.

Talking about rims. I seem to remember seeing a Suzuki s40/savage with an alloy rim on the front, not aftermarket, but in the showroom.

Yes? Undecided

It was some time ago the bike had a front rim that was alloy. In the showroom brand new, maybe seven years ago.
