Go for it Raydawg. I wanted to write when I was younger but I let the pressures and responsibilities of life take precedence. I did not want to write a book, I was more interested in short stories that could possibly be published in a magazine.

My father has written at least one book and a number of short stories. And my oldest son says he is going to write a screenplay. I have encouraged him to do so.

Raydawg, my best wishes to you. I would be very interested in seeing the finished product.

I've done occasional articles for an antique car magazine or two, but never attempted a book. Good luck with your project.

I don't think I am a writer, but the key to becoming one is to write. Something will be better than others. I have been writing sermons and lessons for a long time. And it seems that once Sunday is over, it is time to start getting ready for Sunday again. But those are sermons, more speeches, than books or stories.

I have been writing a devotion every morning for the last I don't know how long. I have enjoyed the challenge and the self discipline it takes. Again, some are better than others.  If anyone is interested in signing up for the devotions, here is the link.
