The Triumph America is way too heavy for me. Looks nice though.

My friend in Cincinnati just bought a new Bonneville, and picked it up Saturday. He said the 1,200 cc engine was incredibly torquey, and smooth, and that it is a very nice size and he can get both feet flat on the ground! The dealer can't keep them in stock, and most bikes are sold while the day they arrive and are still in the crate.

Weird, can remember when 650/750 nortons and bonnies, then cb750s were the biggest available, and they were fast. 1200 just seems so over the top. Times have really changed!
