Petcock time?
07/06/16 at 20:31:02

So, the bike (2006, 11k miles)  has started to stall for lack of fuel. Like it's running out of gas, but the tank is full. Turning the selector to Prime or Reserve - no issues, runs fine.

Does this sound like the stock petcock finally going, or something else?

Thanks --

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Just had the same problem. I needed a new one. But there is a rebuild kit, which may or may not help.
Or you buy a new one like me, or you can put that Raptor petcock in and plug the vacuum port on the carb.
But perhaps start with the vacuum line first and replace it.

You can ride to get your Raptor, and pull the fuel line off the carb and drain the tank into a gas can, drop the petcock, wipe the bottom of the tank off and install your new one..
Excluding the riding and getting, shouldn't be more than an hour. Your Saturday otta be just fine.
