For all you wrench turners out there. What do you think of a kit form I put together and sell here for the main issues with the Savage. Example-Oil Leak Kit (will include Versy head plug, tube of gasket sealant, side cover gaskets. No more hunting for parts just one stop and you got it.

Tune up kit- air filter, oil filter, spark plug

It doesn't have to be a kit as such. Just a list of parts for a particular job.
Anything is better than traipsing off to the Suzuki dealer.

Common Maintenance Parts
Based on the owners manual maintenance chart...

Spark plug 12000 miles (Iridium optional)
Oil Filter 3500
Air Filter 7500
Vapor and Brake hose 4 years (but I'll extend that to every hose every 7 years)

O-rings that could be replaced are:
valve inspection
oil fill
oil filter
timing inspection
clutch cover
(red silicone rubber replacements preferred)

Head Plug  

And numerous sealing washers.
(old ones make excellent washers on bolts/screws that normally fall off)

Brake pads 5000 ( I would never get oem... kevlar preferred 2x mileage too)

Some of these parts it's common never to replace them (sealing washers), while others are mandatory(brake pads).

With some thought, a couple of kits should sell well.

Yearly kit; 1 sparky, 2 OF, 1 AF, 1 BP
10x kit; All O-rings, HP, Hoses, BH (steel braid)
