Armen Serious Thumper Offline Half-Witted Wrench-Jockey from Jersey Posts: 1452	Narrower belt? 06/09/16 at 19:33:43 Considering that there are much heavier and more powerful bikes out there with narrower belts, it seems plausible that the Savage could be happy with one. Anyone find a combo that would work on a Savage? Preferably taller gearing? I'm thinking 1" or maybe just a bit wider. thanks, -Armen

Reply #2 - 06/09/16 at 21:54:53 Harly belts are narrower but run on larger pulleys ,their to stiff to be used on ours and their pulleys are to big around to fit your bikes.If you want different gearing you'll have to go to a chain or the kawa front and/or rear pulley conversion.

I'd like to tidy up the ass end of the bike. I'm thinking narrower belt, move the shocks in a bit. And the added width is probably more frictional loss on an already dickless powertrain. -Armen
