We actually have negative immigration with Mexico today...

That's great news on one hand, but, IF true, then that's an indicator that Mexico is where the Better opportunity is.

I just 5 minutes ago read an article on Yahoo that there is a flood of immigrants from Central America and Mexico now jumping the border into the U.S.
Why?  Fear that Trump may get elected.

Trying to get in the U.S. before Trump puts a stop to it.

Like the gasoline shortage in the 70's.
They told you there was no more gas and you lined up around the block.

If they said there would be no more chocolate bars you'd stock up.

Jog, think of it this way......

I can remember before we had handicap access laws mandating buildings, etc.
I recall the arguments too, that it would saddle businesses with too much expense, etc.

Nobody was anti-handicap, but we sure did neglect their plight by the way we thought of only ourselves.....

I know it speaks to physical hurdles, but what I was trying to example was our thinking, and how it has progressed and accommodated others that use to escape us.....
Funny too, cause the Boy Scouts have caught scorn for their stance on some social issues, but were out front in instructing their little scouts to help others in need, cross the streets, etc.    

Its a crazy world, and getting crazier, as we let loose of the good things that anchored our society, and try to find new things to grasp, thinking it is progress, or better, or?

Many things we have discovered have improved our lot, medicine, conservation, technologies, etc,

But mans basic needs, and how he ticks, is our foundation, we can't change that, or inscribe right, or wrong to it, as with homosexuality being an example.....

If that was "normal" as our "basic" ( foundation)  instinct, we would cease to exist as a specie, eventually.....

But, for us to be against something like this socially, making laws, etc, IS counter to our Constitution, and the freedoms that allow us to find our joy, peace, and happiness....

YES, it is a two way sword and many warring factions yield that sword against each other, and we are seeing how it only divides, and no one really wins, as our peace is consumed with anger, and hate, being the results....

I can't connect all the dots, or give you a concrete example....
But I think as we look upon this election cycle, how it has played out, power-wise, etc, and we see the present candidates and their speak, lots of us are unsettled, we are not comfortable in the future with either,yet, our choice is.......???

Something is up, something is changing, and I hope it is we are getting wiser, tho presently it would seem not, if we have elected these two as representatives of us, but nevertheless, the "forces" that have steered, dealt, and set policies are very much in turmoil right now, as this cycle has exposed a deep rift in the process!
