That's a sinkhole, right there... It'll be interesting in the coming weeks of to see what they learn about the sun from this
Pulling back of the outermost layer. I, naturally, have no idea If what they learn will be fully shared with those of us who pay for the equipment and their time. But, if we don't get the whole truth, hopefully what they do tell will be true. I like looking at Hubble photos and I watch scientific stuff on t.v.and I'm just a little fascinated by the stuff in space. Here is our nearest star, and it's Doing something. That's a Little bit more than

In general....the Universe is expanding and continues to do so at a rate that is accelerating. However....there still are some things that are being attracted to each other and collisions do occur. Not sure why/how our galaxies got separated and then close enough to each other that they started to long journey toward each other.

At some point, all heck is going to break loose as the galaxies come crashing together.....it will not be just a gentle bump! Solar systems can be pulled apart......asteroids, moons, planets, stars/suns can come crashing into us....it will not be pretty! Sad
