Have you checked the ergonomics of that?
I'd hate to hear that someone rear-ended you and you lost your head.

How about that stuff between the legs, if you know what I mean? It'd be a bad day for a fellow who had the bike fly out from under him just right. I tended to think the stock sissy bar was a health hazard, but I've since understood that at least it has some cushion... Huh

Some of you may be too young to remember when a major safety effort was made to rid automobiles of hard and pointy objects in the passenger compartment.  Fancy pointed steering wheel hubs etc. were responsible for many deaths in low impact accidents.

Your metal working and design skills are very good but maybe it should be round on top.  I have seen people and bikes flung around in many unpredictable ways in a wreck and it seems to me that a large pointy metal thing sticking straight up in the air might become a serious hazard in a crash.  Just saying.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on safety - IT MATTERS!

There is a rounded steel cap that will be on the top of the bar while riding. It will be incorporated into a same shape leather bag fixed to the back of the sissy bar,

The bike will only take on this sinister form in static displays.
