I think the population of deer around the Dragon have either learned to say away from the road during daylight hours....or they have become road kill.
The Dragon is a real mix of traffic......from slow motorhomes and campers to 1,000 cc sport bikes. There are times when you can hustle along really quickly and be reasonably safe - other times there is just too much traffic to allow you to ride fast safely. You need to stay in your lane at all speeds, and be ready for anyone to be in your lane around every corner. Both motorcycles and motorhomes can be surprised by the decreasing radius and blind corners and fail to stay in their lane.
I have found the need to pass slow riders....some easily wave you buy, and others believe it is acceptable to be a slowly moving obstacle. I generally don't have a problem finding my way around them.....or I just turn around and ride the other direction for a while (The Dragon is fun in either direction!).
