Hey, this may be off topic, but a while back, I managed to strip one of my exhaust stud holea in my head probably about 2/3 of the way in, I was able to catch about a 1/2 inch, maybe of threads at the end that we're still good and untouched.what I did was went out and found the longest stainless m8x1.25 bolt and took the head off of it, essentially making it into a stud. I cleaned both the hole and the stud with carb cleaner and compressed air and applied red threadlocker to the stud to set it in the head. Now I just slide that clamp over the two studs and put lock nuts on. Do you think I run the risk of pulling the threads out of the hole I buggered up? Or should I not worry about it. It's also been like that for about 10 months now.
It might not even be a half inch that I'm catching, could be less, but not by much.
