Anyone know how to connect led accent light strips to the battery? i took my seat off and the battery cover. what goes where!?

there's a brown wire that comes off the ig switch that goes to the tail light only.
Depending on the current these things draw, i'd tap into that.
just make sure not to use the "P" setting on the ig switch.

so if i connect it to the brown wire, when i turn the bike off will the lights turn off as well or would they continue to run? if they continue to run i would need to connect some sort of on off switch

I'd switch it, regardless, because you might wanna turn it off.

Yep, connecting to the brown wire will turn off the lights when you shut down the bike. I completely agree with JOG2's suggestion of adding a switch as well so that you can control them at will. On my previous bikes I added a remote control switch so that I could turn them on and off on the fly.
